Top 10 engagement and wedding photoshoot locations in Mississauga and surrounding areas

I’ve compiled a list of locations that you will find useful if you’re planning an outdoor shoot for your wedding or engagement in and around Mississauga, Brampton, Milton and Burlington. This is not an exhaustive list but it certainly covers some of the popular spots amongst wedding and engagement couples. You can also check out my other guide on best photography locations in Toronto.

The Riverwood Conservancy

4300 Riverwood Park Ln, Mississauga, ON

This is one of my favourite photography spots in Mississauga. It has glorious view, lots of greenery, trails, a barn, picturesque Chappell House and MacEwan Terrace Garden which serve as the backdrop. Requires a permit.

Kariya Park

3620 Kariya Dr, Mississauga, ON

Serene Japanese-inspired garden with lots of beautiful spots for photography. Offers a wooden door, pond, bridge, walkways, trees and greenery. Very popular spots for wedding shoot. At one time you will see between 1-3 bridal parties. Although it’s a small park but you can easily work around other parties and get stunning shots taken. Requires a permit. However, many couples I know have gotten away without one. However, to save embarrassment on your special day, you should probably get one.

Humber Arboretum

205 Humber College Blvd, Etobicoke, ON

Humber College, North Campus has a beautiful park which has lots of greenery (in summer of course), forest, ponds, bridges, waterfalls and trails. Usually a lot of engagement/wedding shoots are taking place. However, since the place is very big, you should be able to move around and get your shots.

Meadowvale Conservation Area

1081 Old Derry Rd, Mississauga, ON

Another good location for a shoot. It’s a huge park. The best things about this park are: credit river that flows through it, a bridge that crosses over it and lots and lots of greenery.

Leslie Log House

4415 Mississauga Rd, Mississauga, ON

Although it is very popular spot for wedding photography, it is not my personal favourite. The reason being that it offers only 1 backdrop of the Leslie Log House. Other than that there isn’t much to shoot around it. However, still its one of the most raved about photography spot of Mississauga.

Paletta Mansion

4250 Lakeshore Rd, Burlington, ON

Lakefront mansion which makes for a perfect engagement or wedding photo backdrop. Overlooks Lake Ontario. Has breathtaking views. Permit is required. It’s a wedding venue as well so you need to make sure there is no wedding ceremony taking place.

Adamson Estate

850 Enola Ave, Mississauga, ON

Adamson Estate is waterfront park and is located east of the Credit River. It’s a popular location for wedding photographers. Requires a permit.

Chinguacousy Park

9050 Bramalea Rd, Brampton, ON

Huge park with lots of amazing locations to do a photoshoot. If you are in Brampton then do check out this park for your next shoot.

Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area

7200 Appleby Line, Milton, ON

It’s one of the most beautiful places in Ontario filled with nature. The views from Buffalo Crag Lookout Point will take your breath away.

Crawford Lake

3115 Conservation Rd, Milton, ON

Another spot close to Nature. Shoot on the lake, Iroquoian village, Deer Clan Longhouse, grinding stone artifact in the village. Tons of places to shoot.
